Day 5: JaisalmerMorning, take a city tour of Jaisalmer. See the citadel - the Fort built by Rawal Jaisal where a fourth of the population lives. Later in the evening take an excursion to Sam - 45 kms away, which is known for its sand dunes and is the venue for the Desert festival. Get the real feel of the desert by enjoying a camel ride on the sand dunes.
Day 6: Jaisalmer-JodhpurThis morning leave for Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Afternoon, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which literally means "Majestic Fort", located at the very center of the city. Close to the fort complex lies this white marble cenotaph, built in 1899, in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Rare portraits of Jodhpur's rulers are, also, to be seen at Jaswant Thada. Also visit the Clock Tower - the city center.
Day 7: Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Mount AbuMorning, transfer to Mount Abu, en-route visit Jain temples at Ranakpur.
Day 8: Mount Abu – UdaipurMorning, visit Mt. Abu - the Dilwara Jain temples, one of the finest examples of Jain architecture in India. The complex includes two temples in which the art of carving marble reached unsurpassed heights. Afternoon, transfer to Udaipur: "The Venice of the East", Udaipur is an enchanting city.
Day 9: UdaipurWitness the Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Visit Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for the maids of honor) & the City Palace. In the evening, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 10: Udaipur - Chittorgarh – PushkarAfter breakfast, leave Udaipur for Pushkar, en-route visit Chittorgarh. After the visit, continue the drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel for overnight stay. Afternoon, visit the holy city of Pushkar.
Day 11 Pushkar – JaipurThis morning leave for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. During afternoon take up a city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar - the observatory built by Jai Singh in 1728; the City Palace, which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Day 12: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri – AgraAfter breakfast, take a short excursion to Amber Fort. Also visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. In the afternoon, leave Jaipur for Agra, en-route visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue driving to Agra. Upon arrival, hotel check in.
Day 13 Agra -DelhiVisit the Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah followed by the visit to the highlight of the day - Taj Mahal, built by the Mughal emperor Shahjehan, perhaps the most perfect architecture in the world. Later drive to Delhi, check in at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 14: DelhiIn the morning full day sightseeing tour of old and new Delhi. Drive pass Presidents House and the Parliament, witness the India Gate and visit Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar. Evening, transfer to the airport for onward journey.
